Our Projects

SBI Foundation invited Proposals to fund the projects for SBI Sanjeevani-Clinic on Wheel for providing primary health care services in aspirational districts of Bihar under SBIF Jivanam. The RFP notification was published on 27.05.2024. Based on Nistha Application, Nistha has been selected as an implementing agency for providing primary health care services in 60 Villages of Muzaffarpur, Khagaria and Purnia Aspirational Districts of Bihar through 3 MMUs. The Grant Letter issued for the same to Nistha as on dated 21.01.2025.

Objectives of Project:

  • Providing primary health care services to 24000 inhabitants in 60 Villages of Muzaffarpur, Khagaria and Purnia Aspirational Districts of Bihar through 3 MMUs;
  • To improve health conditions of people in the proposed locations by conducting Mobile OPD at their doorstep;
  • To meet immediate health care need through specialized health camps;
  • To make people aware of health & hygiene issues by organizing Awareness Camps by showing movie on health issues, facilitating community discussions;
  • Supporting Swachh Bharat Abhiyan initiatives.

In order to bring private sector efficiency for management of facilities and delivering quality services through efficient utilization of available resources, JSDMS intends to set up, operate, maintain and manage Mega Skill Centres through Public Private Partnership (PPP) mode. It has been named as Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Kaushal Kendra (DDUKK) which shall conduct the training programs of longer duration wherein candidates would be able to get skilled with deeper technical acumen combined with mandatory on job training (OJT) so as to make these candidates industry ready. DDUKK truly represents the Scale, Speed and Standard of skilling in Jharkhand.

Under the DDUKK Project, Nistha has been running 4 Skill Training Centres at Palamu, Pakur, Ramgarh and Lohardaga Districts of Jharkhand State.

SJKVY aims at providing quality skills training to youth in the age group of 18-35 years and is being implemented across the state of Jharkhand. The training programs are aligned with the National Skills Qualification Framework (NSQF) and responsive to industry needs.

The scheme aims to facilitate employment to 70% of successful trainees through placement-linked and self-employment training in various trades/courses affiliated to different Sector Skill Councils (SSC).

Under the SJKVY Project, Nistha has been running 1 Skill Training Centre at Pakur District of Jharkhand State.

The Medhavi Project is about Bridge Education, Mainstream Education & Skill Training to 120 School Dropout Youth. It includes Mainstreaming Education, Skill Training on Gas Tungsten & arc Welding (GTAW), Preventive Health Check-up Camp among 120 School Dropout Youth under Medhavi Project at West Singhbhum District of Jharkhand State including Skill Training, OJT, Practical Session and Placement under the District Planning Office, West Singhbhum District.

The Seekho Aur Kamao Scheme of Ministry of Minority Affairs (MoMA) through Maulana Azad Education Foundation (MAEF) has been allocated for Minority Communities, which requires a specific focus with tailor-made institutional arrangements to work as delivery mechanism for providing top quality skills training as per the demand of the market. It will provide a unique opportunity to students who have dropped out to avail the benefit of quality training in market determined skills at the door-steps on voluntary basis, which would further accelerate the process of their gainful integration with the workforce of the entire Country.

SBI Foundation’s work in the domain of Health is geared towards achieving the UN-SDG-3 “Good Health and Well Being” and SDG 17 “Partnership for Goals” for treatment of various ailments and attainment of complete wellbeing. To achieve this, SBI Foundation empanelled Nistha to work towards the implementation of Sanjeevani – Clinic on Wheels / Mobile Medical Van Project at 20 Villages each in Muzzafarpur, Khagaria and Purnia Districts of Bihar State for building the resilience of vulnerable communities through the development of innovative models to increase the accessibility to healthcare resources as well as facilitate their treatments in various forms of illness among underserved/unserved areas.
